Frugal Week Planner for 14 June to 20 June 2017

This weekend, treat your father to a fun and memorable Father’s Day. Some frugal events to consider include a free concert, a play date at the Sports Hub, a live screening of 24h of Le Mans 2017 at a Porsche Singapore event, or a mass Father’s Day celebration at the Mediacorp Campus. The Tuas West Extension also opens on Father’s Day, and there will be free rides along the 4 new stations for their Open House (on Friday).

Frugal Week Planner for 31 May to 6 June 2017

The Duanwu (Dragon Boat) Festival was yesterday, which means the DBS Marina Regatta will soon be here. And that’s just one of the frugal events happening this week, giving you some options just in case you don’t think it’s worth $59 to bring your own food (and table, tablecloth, cutlery, and chairs) to dine with other pearly-clad invitees (at Diner en Blanc). The Hari Raya season is also upon us, which means it’s a good time to reflect and forgive, and to visit the Festive Village and Bazaar. May you all have a blessed Ramadan.
