The Singapore Grand Prix is back again for 3 days of racing and nightly entertainment. For those who either can’t afford or don’t want to spend $$$ on tickets, here’s a great article which lists some places where you can watch the race for free. Of course, you can also live stream the race from home (free on Toggle), or opt for these frugal events instead:

Hungry Ghost Festival

As part of the Hungry Ghost Festival, you can sign up for the Birth, Life and Death Tour by the Chinatown Business Association where you will learn the practices carried out during births and deaths. You can also join the Asia Paranormal Investigators on a walking tour to hunt for ghosts at Bukit Brown Chinese Cemetery, or visit the Taoist temple at Arumugam Road, where there will be festivities, lively auctions, and variety shows.
