July is Youth Month, and the start of the Singapore Science Festival. This is also the last weekend to take a “guided tour” of the Hari Raya street festivities in Geylang Serai. As always, please be reminded that this is just a partial listing of frugal activities, and that you can find plenty of other frugal activities at parks, museums, community clubs, and libraries. Time waits for no one, so make the most of today (and please don’t spend it queuing for a watch, as that would be ironic!).

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through 2015 and about halfway through Ramadan. A new school term has begun and next month is our nation’s 50th anniversary. How time flies! How will you spend the last week of the school holidays? Here are some suggestions for frugal activities. As always, please be reminded that there are plenty of frugal activities happening all the time at parks, museums, community clubs, and libraries. And since we’re still in GSS season, many malls will have special performances and events for the entire family.
