Although Thanksgiving is a US holiday not celebrated in this region, I think it’s one of the best holidays to adopt. Better than Black Friday, which unfortunately, has already been adopted. Thanksgiving is a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. It is a reminder for us to not take things for granted, and to give thanks for all we already have.
