The Duanwu (Dragon Boat) Festival was yesterday, which means the DBS Marina Regatta will soon be here. And that’s just one of the frugal events happening this week, giving you some options just in case you don’t think it’s worth $59 to bring your own food (and table, tablecloth, cutlery, and chairs) to dine with other pearly-clad invitees (at Diner en Blanc). The Hari Raya season is also upon us, which means it’s a good time to reflect and forgive, and to visit the Festive Village and Bazaar. May you all have a blessed Ramadan.
