Deepavali Festival Village, Art Exhibition & Little India Light Up

Two larger-than-life elephant statues welcome visitors at the start of Serangoon Road. The Deepavali Festival Village can be found along Campbell Lane and Hastings Road. On the eve of Deepavali, visitors can participate in a lighting ceremony, along with enjoying cultural performances and other activities.
Malay Cultural Festival

Venue: Malay Heritage Centre
The Malay Cultural Festival will be 2 weeks of performances, trails, workshops and more. On 14 Oct, the annual dance festival, Lintas Nusantara, will take place and promises to be a spectacle of dance, music and martial arts. There will also be a masterclass for traditional Malay musicians who are keen to develop their skills and knowledge in the Asli genre on 24 & 25 Oct. For more details, please visit their website.
Got To Move SG

Got to Move (GTM) is Singapore’s nationwide dance movement. Pick up some dance moves at GTM islandwide events (all free, please sign up online) and show them off at the GTM Spotlight on 29 October. This one-day anchor dance carnival features a one-of-a-kind GTM Dance-Walk, interactive performances, family-friendly dance activities and more.
Bright Nights at Sentosa: Siloso Beach Oktoberfest

Catch the daily Merlion Magic Lights show, the visual spectacle with a new, fun and groovy theme. Trash Hero Beach Clean Up

Be a hero and spare a short period of your day to help clean up our beaches and stop some pieces of plastic from reaching the ocean. This is a kid-friendly activity so everyone is welcomed to join. The Trash Hero group regularly meets at different locations (look for their yellow shirts), and will pick up as much rubbish as they can in about an hour. Gloves and trash bags are provided.
