As usual, this week is full of activities to do during the school holidays. This is also the last weekend to enjoy the Singapore Botanic Gardens Children’s Festival, Lifelong Learning Festival, 398.2 Storytelling Festival and Kalaa Utsavam.

Kalaa Utsavam: Indian Festival of Arts

Kalaa Utsavam is an annual festival that celebrates Indian arts during the festive period of Deepavali. Free programmes include a Mudiyettu ritual performance; Chakra-thon, a series of 8 raga concerts; a photo booth with Rajasthani puppets; and Bollywood Night with DJ Milan.
Singapore Botanic Gardens Children's Festival 2017

Celebrate our amazing world of plants at the Singapore Botanic Gardens Children’s Festival. Learn about farms, composting and propagation techniques. Arts in Your Neighbourhood

Held at various spaces across the island, Arts in Your Neighbourhood is a programme under the Arts for All initiative whose goal is to provide enriching experiences for everyone. Highlights include Urban Distortions, a contemporary dance inside giant life-size plastic bubbles; Play With Bamboo!, a musical showcase of bamboo-made instruments; and #seeyoursg walking trail, where you can discover the myths and urban legends of the Jurong neighbourhood.
Lifelong Learning Festival 2017

The Lifelong Learning Festival aims to inspire a society that embraces lifelong learning and to galvanise community partnerships to form lifelong learning initiatives. For an entire month, there will be free exhibits, hands-on activities, and workshops islandwide. From 3D printing your own keychain, to spin art, coding, drones, and robotics, there's something for everyone.
Bright Nights at Sentosa

As part of Bright Nights at Sentosa, after 6pm, there will be lots of 1-for-1 deals and FREE Grab Shuttle rides (on Thursdays only) from VivoCity, Mapletree Business City, and Keppel Bay. Catch the daily Merlion Magic Lights show, the visual spectacle with a new, fun and groovy theme. Show times are 7.45pm, 8.15pm, 8.45pm & 9.15pm (weekdays) with 2 additional shows at 9.45pm and 10.15pm on weekends.

IKEA Let’s Play For Change Carnival

For one weekend, IKEA will turn their showroom into a carnival for kids of all ages to play games, collect stamps and redeem prizes.
